On our recent excursion to Liberal, KS we passed several "wind farms" along the way.

Concert at the Liberal High School Auditorium on November 16, 2008.
"Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, and Something Blues-y"

This program was presented in part by the Kansas Arts Commission, a state agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. Sponsors of the event included the Southwest Symphony Society, Kansas Arts Commission, Holiday Inn Express, and First National Bank.

Tallgrass Trio performed for over 500 elementary school students in Liberal, KS. The trio played ethnic music from different cultures and  had the students guess which country the pieces came from. The children listened attentively and guessed correctly on every piece!

 

 
Tallgrass Trio performed on Mother's Day 2007 at the Manhattan Public Library.
